SEA of Parents Book Club
This is a private book club designed for parents looking to support their child’s language and literacy skills at home. It is for parents looking to support typical development at home, as well as parents with children in speech therapy looking to support their child’s progress at home. Speech therapists are also always welcome to join for community, parent resources and literacy based activity ideas.
Above all, this is a community of parents looking to support their children, and looking for evidence-based ways to encourage communication development at home. All book club guides, activities and content were designed by our owner and lead speech-language pathologist, Hailey, through the SEA lens. SEA is an acronym for “stories, enrichment, and adventure”, and was designed and developed by Hailey Phipps. Our book club guides are designed in the 3 waves of stories, followed by enrichment and then adventure. Meaning this book club will give you ideas for the best stories to read aloud with your kids, enrichment activities to pair with the books, and adventures for extended learning.
Included is a private Facebook group exclusively for Book Club members, parent books of the month, book club guides, and bonus Reach Speech Therapy content. This is not a replacement for speech and language services, but a great additional resource for families. Join our waitlist, and be added to the newsletter until it opens!
Cost: $25/month (cancel anytime!)
